• With roots in Chinese-Indonesian heritage, and educations in Singapore and Canada, I’ve cultivated a highly adaptable and globally aware mindset through my journey to EU citizenship. My adventures have taken me across continents, and I’ve called Toronto, Bali, the South of France, Madrid, and recently, Valencia home.
• Travel is more than a passion; it’s a way of life. I’ve explored 33 countries, from Bhutan to Timor-Leste, and I’m always ready for a new adventure – relocation included!
• I love observing street life, capturing unexpected moments with my camera, and writing little narratives about them.
• I’m a passionate home cook, heavily influenced by the amazing chefs and food bloggers I follow online. And this obsession with gastronomy definitely fuels my travels – I travel and live to eat.
• I speak five languages: English, Bahasa Indonesia, Chinese Mandarin, Javanese (yes, it’s an actual language), and conversational Spanish.
• I try not to take life too seriously. I’m happy to laugh at my own jokes (so you don’t have to!)
• I’m a certified PADI Rescue Diver with about 200 dives (and a few close calls!) under my weight belt, mostly in the gorgeous Indonesian archipelago – my home sweet home. Let’s just say I’ve seen a lot of sharks and have enough stories to liven up a dull dinner party.
• My life is a dance between adrenaline and tranquility. On dry land, you might find me jumping out of airplanes or conquering 3,000-meter peaks, but I also find my peace in nature, enjoying the simplicity of camping, foraging, and kayaking.
• My global experiences and love for storytelling infuse my copywriting, allowing me to craft compelling and engaging narratives for travel, hospitality, and lifestyle brands.
